Dealquip NSW Pty Ltd. is an Australian owned and operated company, which began as the Sanderson Stevedoring Company in Newcastle, Australia in 1895.

Our history and reputation can be traced back to 1870, when George Sanderson arrived in Newcastle from Sweden. Sanderson Stevedoring Company was a family organisation from 1895 until 1966 when George Sanderson Stevedoring Pty Ltd. formed a partnership, and then merged with Newcastle Stevedoring Pty Ltd., to start as a mechanical hiring service called Newsan Gear Services as a Division of George Sanderson Stevedoring Company Pty Ltd.

In 1977, George Sanderson Stevedoring Company sold a percentage of its shares to Patrick Operations Pty Ltd., and Patrick Sanderson Stevedoring Company Pty Ltd. was chosen for the new Company name.

The Company started its New England Branch at Tamworth in 1976.

It purchased the Newcastle Clark dealership in 1977. It took over the Port Kembla Clark outlet in 1979, and the Brisbane Clark operation in 1980.

Crown Controls also appointed Clarklift Newcastle as their distributor in 1980.

In January 1982, Advance Hydraulics took over all the Clarklift branches from Patrick Stevedoring Company Pty Ltd.

In 1993 the Clark Franchise was relinquished in Newcastle, Brisbane and Wollongong.

Clarklift Branches now trade under the names: Dealquip Newcastle & Dealquip NSW. We also had a turf division called "Turf and Grounds Equipment" that imported Excel Hustler Outfront Mowers.

In 1994, the name Turf and Ground Equipment was cancelled and the present name, Dealquip NSW Pty Ltd. was adopted.

Dealquip employs many local people with years of experience in their chosen fields. Over the years, Dealquip has been involved with some of Australia's major industries in the materials handling field.
